It's Sunday.
Tomorrow the grind starts again. But before you jump back into applications, take 5 minutes to review what's actually working.
Three questions to ask yourself:
1. What did I try last week that worked?
Did you:
Get a response from a LinkedIn message?
Land an interview?
Get positive feedback on your resume?
Find a job board that has better opportunities?
Do more of that this week.
2. What did I try that didn't work?
Did you:
Apply to 30 jobs and hear nothing?
Send generic cover letters?
Apply to roles you weren't qualified for?
Wait too long to follow up?
Stop doing that this week.
3. What's ONE thing I'll do differently this week?
Not 10 things. One thing.
Examples:
Apply within 24 hours instead of 3 days
Customize my resume for every application
Message 5 people on LinkedIn
Follow up on applications from 2 weeks ago
Apply to fewer jobs but with more intention
Write it down. Make it specific.
Your 5-minute Sunday reset:
Open your job tracker
Count: Applications sent, responses received, interviews scheduled
Identify one pattern (good or bad)
Write down ONE change for this week
Close your laptop
That's it.
Monday morning, you'll know exactly what to do differently.
Small improvements every week compound into big results.
