But here's what most people don't realize: A rejection today can become an offer in 3 months.
I've seen it happen dozens of times. Someone gets rejected, sends one smart follow-up email, and ends up getting hired when another position opens up.

Why this works:
Shows maturity (you're not bitter about the rejection)
Asks for specific, actionable feedback (not "what did I do wrong?")

The reality: Most candidates who get rejected either:
Say nothing (you disappear from their memory)
